Mental Health Summer Recovery Camp 2017

This year we have a comprehensive brochure with all the information, booking details and lots of photos for Recovery Camp 2017.  Download - CLICK HERE

INTRODUCTION
Now in it’s 3rd year, we are proud to present our Mental Health Summer Recovery Camp 2017.  The Recovery Camp will give you an experience of a recovery community, so you can take this into your own life, work and practice.

This year the Recovery Camp has been moved from June to September.  Recovery Camp 2017 will run from Thursday 7th September to Tuesday 12th September 2017.  The venue will be Barnutopia, Llansilin, Shropshire, Wales.

This is the perfect venue, a small family-owned glamping site.  The location is just out of the way, off the beaten track, but close enough (5 miles) to a good sized town for grocery shopping and other conveniences.  The site has kune kune pigs, horses, cats and a dog.  It is in a rural area among working farms, with sheep and other livestock in the fields.

For those of you have not been to one of our Recovery Camps before, please see the second part of the Recovery Camp 2017 Brochure (Pages 9 - 11) for Additional Details.

For those of you who have been before, we have taken into account all your feedback from previous years, making some changes, which includes everyone staying on site,  improved disabled access, more central UK location and cheaper/quality meals.

As before, this is YOUR Recovery Camp.  So if you:
●    Want to run a Workshop
●    Want to provide a Big Barn Discussion or suggest/recommend someone
●    Want to provide Art Sessions
●    Want to offer sessions in Yoga, Meditation, etc…
●    Want to offer taster sessions in Alternative Therapies
●    Have ideas of local bands to provide evening entertainment or play yourself
●    Want to have a stall to sell arts/crafts
●    Want to offer a particular skill to help run the Recovery Camp
●    Have other ideas for the Recovery Camp
