ABOUT THE WEEK
Join us on a journey to explore how our wellbeing can be enhanced by practices that are thousands of years old and are being "discovered" by mainstream healthcare today. Join us for this practice based week and welcome in the summer solstice at the stones of Callanish as part of our exciting program which will include: Meditation, sound healing, spirituality meets science, sharing stories, core stability and reclaiming our innocence. Add to this field trips to Bosta neolithic house, Tigh nan Cailleachan Dubha - house of the black women or nuns, Saint Brides Well, Saint Moluag’s church and walks around the coast line of Ness, this week will nourish your soul.
These 5 days will give you a chance to restore, for you to explore any lost innocence experiences in a woman only group. Alison & Karen believe that the land can aid in your healing. We will use culture, place, stories, music and ceremonies to explore the theme of lost innocence and to find your heroic story. This course is suitable for any women experiencing issues of lost innocence or working with women who have.
Join us on a journey to explore 3 billion year old Lewisian Gneiss rocks, the oldest in Britain. Let the unbounded Atlantic Ocean expand the wilderness of your soul as the Sun reaches its peak at Summer Solstice over the Stones of Callanish. Together we will enter the world of Celtic myths to transmute the shadow energies of abuse and oppression. Restoration of our core emotional and spiritual stability and a return to innocence is where this epic story will take us.
You will return home with practical steps to improve your life and relationships, rested and rejuvenated by this magical landscape.
